They say the only certain things in life are death and taxes, but you could also add clothes to the list. Unless you live on a small tropical island or have a hermit existence, the other certainty is that you’ll have to decide what to wear every morning. Many of us love clothes, fashion and seeing what celebrities are wearing, and it’s as much fun to see when they get it drastically wrong as to seem them looking great in their closet dresses or formal wear on the red carpet. So who are the best dressed celebs?
Emma Watson
Emma topped the list of Best Dressed Women of 2011 as put together by Glamour magazine, and it’s easy to see why women all across the world are keen to copy her style. It helps that top designers are falling over themselves to give her fabulous frocks to wear for premieres and award ceremonies, but she also never puts a foot wrong when wearing her own clothes. After the Harry Potter movies ended Emma made a definite move away from Hermione by chopping her hair into a cute pixie cut, and started to attract more modelling work than acting.
Cheryl Cole
Cheryl is the nation’s sweetheart, and her glamorous style puts her at number 2 on the best dressed list. Whatever she is wearing she always looks immaculate, and she can even make a pair of jeans and an old t-shirt look like the height of fashion. Cheryl is a popular role model for teenagers, and even has a website devoted to her style, helping girls get the “Cheryl look” by directing them where to buy similarly styled closet dresses, shoes and make-up.

Samantha Cameron
Sam Cam, as she is often known in the press, is not as highly fashionable as Cheryl or Emma, but still scores well in the style stakes. Her style is far more classic than high fashion, and in her official duties as wife of the Prime Minister, she is expected to showcase work of British designers. Her biggest fashion success was at the wedding of William and Kate, where she wore a turquoise without a hat. As a working mum, Samantha’s fashion choices are practical and comfortable and her simple style is easy to copy with basic buys from the high street mixed with scarves and accessories.
Victoria Beckham
Out of all of the Spice Girls, it’s Victoria who has made the biggest impact on the fashion world. She is half of one of the most photographed couples in the world and even if she is just popping out to the shops she’s stylishly dressed. Her interest in fashion is such that she has launched her own label with considerable success, and her daughter Harper is one of the most talked about celebrity babies. Victoria’s look is all about oversized sunglasses, skinny jeans and fitted jackets and her sharp style is based around wardrobe basics like a fitted jacket and well-fitting pair of jeans, as well as the designer shades.
